OAK PARKE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC. Minutes of the Board Meeting on 6/13/07 Present: Marilyn Simpson, Chris Driggs, Pamela Monday The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. Discussion of roles of the officers. Officers were nominated and voted in: President – Chris Driggs Vice President – Marilyn Simpson Secretary/Treasurer – Pamela Monday Old Business Summary of roles, issues for new board members Discussion of insurance policy, financials, pending issues New Business Election of officers to Architectural Control Committee: Chris Driggs, Marilyn Simpson, Pamela Monday. Website issues – need to add calendar of events; post information about yahoo listserve for homeowners Need for after-hours phone number for Carl Gamble, Property Manager Created Committee for Senior Activities – Chris Driggs will gather information and liaison with Bethany Lutheran Church Changes to the lockbox at the mailboxes to add Goodwin Management contact phone numbers; make the box more attractive and readable (Chris Driggs will handle this) Plan for new board members to have access to necessary keys, and to have Bruce Hermes transfer the signing authority for checks at Chase Bank to the current board members. Plan to review landscaping contract with Circle C Landscaping Company. Discussion of landscaping for Brodie Lane entrance. Issue of the need for expediency with fulfillment of requests issued to Goodwin Management, and improved communication between the Board and the management company regarding issues and accountability of the management association to the Board. Discussion of need for getting clear policies and procedures in place for the ACC. Prior to the next Board meeting, ask Carl Gamble to prepare an analysis of homeowner complaints for Board review. The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
