Oak Parke is a small and beautiful subdivision located in Southwest Austin with approximately 330 homes. Most of the homes were built in the early 1990s and range in size from 2200 sq ft to 3600 sq ft. Oak Parke is roughly bordered by Slaughter Lane to the north, Brodie Lane to the east, and Slaughter Creek to the south and west. There are entrances to the community on the North side where Wolftrap Drive meets Slaughter Lane, and on the east side where Aspen Creek Parkway meets Brodie Lane. With our moderately sized homes and quaint natural gas lighting in front of every residence, our community feels very cozy and neighborly.

Some of the best schools that Austin has to offer are near Oak Parke. Bowie High School which borders Oak Parke on the north side, has won many honors including "Exemplary" School of Excellence by the Texas Education Agency, 5 Star High School by Texas Monthly & National Center for Educational Accountability, and "Gold Performance Acknowledgements" by the Texas Education Agency. Bailey Middle School is just south of Oak Parke and is known for it's Outdoor Science Education and Native Plants program, High Tech Computer program, Junior Police Academy, and it also offers High School Credit Courses. Oak Parke's has various amenities including a nice swimming pool, a large play scape and swing set, a park area with a basketball court, picnic tables, and grills, and a large natural greenbelt area to the south. Nearby attractions include the Veloway, Lady Bird Johnson's National Wildflower Center and numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and other fine retail businesses.
